Child Safe Zone

Child Safe Zone is a safety scheme which has been launched at the centres listed below. It offers a hotline number to assist parents and guardians in finding children who have been separated from them whilst out shopping. By calling the dedicated Child Safe number, parents and guardians will be put in contact with the centre’s Security team to reunite them with their child.

Parents visiting the centre will be able to obtain free wristbands for their children from the Customer Relations desk. A contact telephone number can be written on the wristband and in the event of a child being lost, parents will be contacted quickly and the family reunited.

Small children can be taught to look for the nearest window sticker and either ask a passing parent or go inside the shop for help. The easily identifiable stickers will be placed in every shop window with the emergency telephone number. Parents who lose sight of their children can call this number, which will put them directly in contact with the centres Security Team and the extra eyes of the CCTV Control Room who will assist with the search.
